A Summer Camp WWYD

 A is 6 going on 7 years old and is now old enough to go to sleep away camp.  The trucker is all for it.  He thinks she will be absolutely fine and will have the time of her life.  She will have a little friend there because a girl from her troop will be attending as well.  Me on the other hand?  I'm scared to death to let my baby go to sleep away camp!  He thinks I'm just crazy.  A is excited but I think she has no idea what she is really excited about.  

What would YOU do???????

  1. Personally? I'd send her. It's only for about a week, right?

    I started going to summer camp when I was 7... and I didn't know anyone there. But it turned out to be my favorite thing EVER... I loved it so much I went for 14 years.

  2. Go with your gut. Might work-out for your girl just like Jac, but that was what 20 years ago, Jac?

    If you cannot bear it, do whatever is necessary to convince the trucker this can wait. Who said 6 is old enough to sleep away?

    My Hubby and I were in agreement on that issue. We both became scout leaders and ours never went unless we did. Barbara
